My Story
I love painting nails! I’m the oldest of three girls, so growing up, I painted my mom, sisters’, and my own nails (and even the dog’s nails) all the time.
As soon as my daughter could sit still, I painted her nails, too! Over the years, she has designed my favorite nail sets. I love it when someone comes in with a vision, and we collaborate to create something new together. 🥰
In 2020, being bored and stuck at home, I was sick of spending so much time on nail polish designs just to have them chip and wear away within days. I went on a deep dive mission to solve this problem. I learned about builder gel, hard gel, semi-hard gel, and the structure these gel products require. I started self-training with YouTube University and practiced on myself… and then roped in my daughter, family, and friends! It became such a fun way to hang out with the wonderful women in my life! I got to hold their hand and spend quality time laughing and loving on them in the best way. 🥰
Fast-forward to the end of 2024. My gel color collection had grown past 400 colors and effects like chrome, ink, stamps, glitters, etc. I was still trying to convince myself that doing nails was just a hobby, even though nails had taken over all my thoughts and free time.
When we got the call that my Grandma was not doing well, and we needed to go to Colorado to say goodbye… I instantly felt the need to paint her nails one last time. I brought my nail gear with me and hoped for the best. When we arrived, her nails were already bare and ready for me to spend the most beautiful one-on-one time pouring my love and appreciation into this amazing woman who has loved me unconditionally since birth. This manicure became a pivotal moment in my nail journey.
In April 2025, I enrolled in Nail Tech School. I passed my license exam at the end of July, and signed the lease for my nail Studio that same day! The Kansas Board of Cosmetology inspected my Studio and approved my salon license at the end of August 2025. It has been a whirlwind year full of ups and downs, but I am so proud of my little studio nail room!
Every manicure I do is meaningful to me and full of love. I genuinely enjoy holding your hand, chatting and laughing with you about life, and making your nails beautiful!
